🎥 Watch: How Lola Blankets handles peak-season inventory with virtual segmentation

In this short clip, Steven from Lola Blankets shares how his team uses GoodDayOS™ to manage major promotions without the manual work.

I recently chatted with Steven Feczko from Lola Blankets and Emily from Margaux NY about how their teams are preparing for the holidays and what’s changed since implementing GoodDayOS™. It was a great conversation. Both brands are growing quickly and are leaders in modern retail operations.

One example Steven shared stood out to me because it perfectly captures what happens when you give operators real control over inventory.

Last year when Lola’s team needed to reserve inventory for a major promotional event the process behind the scenes was hacked together, manual and error-prone. The team had to coordinate using spreadsheets and phantom skus… asking a lot from the warehouse, and hoping nothing slipped through the cracks.

This year, they’re taking a very different approach. Using GoodDay’s virtual inventory segmentation, they can manage this with a few clicks.

Instead of time consuming and error-prone workarounds, Lola’s operations team can segment inventory virtually—reserving specific SKUs for a campaign or partner with just a few clicks. Those units are automatically ring-fenced in GoodDay, remain visible to the team, and are released back into the main pool once the campaign wraps up.

What used to require coordination between multiple teams and systems now happens instantly and cleanly.

“Now it's as simple as a few clicks where we can just say, ‘we want to set aside these X,000 units, for a sale that's upcoming.’ We'll quarantine them now and then once the sales are completed, we can release them back into the pool. So that has saved a ton of confusion. Manual processes, and quite frankly errors.” – Steven Feczko, Head of Operations, Lola Blankets

Why it matters

For growing brands like Lola Blankets, the ability to segment inventory virtually isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s essential.

  • Accuracy: Every team sees exactly what’s available, promised, or protected.
  • Speed: Allocations update immediately without rework or manual reconciliation.
  • Focus: Operators spend less time managing exceptions and more time planning what’s next.

It’s a small change that prevents the typical end-of-season scramble… freeing up time for better forecasting and tighter coordination across marketing, finance, and fulfillment.

A better way to manage growth

Lola’s experience highlights a broader trend we’re seeing: modern operators want flexible systems that adapt to how they actually work, not legacy ERPs that require workarounds.

Virtual inventory segmentation is a simple concept with outsized impact. It gives teams the ability to plan inventory allocation dynamically, at the SKU level, without losing visibility or control.

If your team is still handling channel allocations through spreadsheets and workarounds it might be time to modernize your approach.
