Most outdoor clothing is made from synthetic materials that disconnect us from the very environment we love. PAKA is changing things up with apparel woven from natural fibers.
Founded in Peru, the brand brings alpaca fiber back to the outdoors, honoring its source and the people of the land.
It all begins in the Andes, where alpacas have spent thousands of years adapting to the region’s extreme weather conditions. Their wool is naturally insulating, moisture-wicking, and soft, a design perfected by nature itself. PAKA then takes the fiber and turns it into high-performance apparel built for every adventure.
Beyond the fabric, PAKA is about people. The brand partners with over 100 Quechua women weavers in Peru, helping to preserve a tradition that’s been passed down for generations. Each garment includes a handwoven Inca ID—a symbol of skill, history, and culture.

Erika Marsh from PAKA shared the brand’s struggles with managing purchase orders. She recalled how the team’s search for a light ERP is what led them to discover GoodDay’s scalable inventory management system.
“As a startup, we didn’t have any ERP or PO management software in place. Our inventory was managed through our WMS system, while purchase orders and finances were all handled in Excel. PAKA was scaling rapidly, but behind the scenes, its inventory system was struggling to keep up. Managing inventory, purchase orders, and financial planning with Excel spreadsheets became a challenge.
As they planned to expand into wholesale, they faced key hurdles:
“The ability to accurately track inventory and date changes was crucial for us, not just what was in-house, but what was incoming. Since we were managing all PO inventory through spreadsheets, we needed better visibility into what was on the way.”
“We explored a few other ERPs. For us, many of them only addressed some of our needs, not all of them. So, we found GoodDay to be customizable and the most flexible for our needs.”
PAKA chose GoodDay to bring order to its growing supply chain. It helped the team upgrade from a spreadsheet-based system to a structured, scalable inventory platform.

“A nice function of GoodDay is that we’re able to see all of the different inventory that’s moving via the 3PL and ensure those movements are accurate before they affect our Shopify site and our end consumer.”
While PAKA is still refining its reporting process, GoodDay has already brought in significant results:
