When we announced our recent funding, we talked about what we were building toward: GoodDayOS as a genuinely AI-native retail operating system. Not an ERP with a chatbot bolted on. Today, I’m excited to share a key piece of that vision is live.
GoodDay now has an MCP integration with Claude. Your inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders are accessible directly inside Claude, with the ability to not just ask questions, but act on the answers without leaving Claude.
GoodDay is a company of former brand operators. Before this, our team was running the day-to-day at brands like Chubbies, living the same inventory chaos, the same spreadsheet purgatory, the same multi-tab scramble that our merchants deal with every day. That background is not a footnote, it shapes everything we build for brands.
Right now, every brand operator we talk to is asking the same question: where does AI actually fit into my business, and where is it just noise? It's a fair question, and figuring out what to do about it takes work. We think helping our brands answer that question is exactly where GoodDay has a role to play, not just by building AI into our product, but by giving operators a clear, practical path forward. The GoodDay MCP integration is step one of that.

Every ops team we talk to is already using AI: work such as drafting emails, reviewing decisions, and building internal SOPs. AI chatbots are officially part of how people work in 2026.

As soon as you ask a question like that, you have to stop using your AI and go somewhere else to find the answer. Log into Shopify. Pull a report. Cross-reference with open orders. Bring all of that context back into your head, or into a spreadsheet, or back into your AI window. And then, once you have the answer, you have to go back into your system to do something about it.
That round trip is where time goes. It's also where context gets lost and small problems become bigger ones.
The reason GoodDay is uniquely positioned to solve this is that we already live inside Shopify. Your orders, inventory, and fulfillment data flow into GoodDay directly from Shopify, your WMS, 3PL and/or other systems in real time. No exports, no CSV uploads, no reconciling between systems; you’ve already done the hard work of creating a trusted data foundation in GoodDayOS. When Claude asks GoodDay a question through the MCP integration, it's pulling that same live data your team operates on every day. Not a snapshot from an export you pulled. The actual numbers.
I'll make this concrete.
An inventory manager asks:
Which sales orders can I fulfill with current inventory?
Claude pulls your live inventory and open order data, tells you which orders you can ship today and which ones are blocked, and explains what's in the way.
Then knowing they'll need additional inventory, they could prompt:
Create a PO for 200 more units of SKU 101 for the wholesale channel.
Done. A PO draft is ready in GoodDay. It does feel magical. No tab switch. No clicking or copy-pasting. No reconciling between what you asked and what you then had to go enter somewhere.
That's a workflow that used to take three screens, 20 clicks, and five minutes. It now takes one conversation.
