Over the last three years, we’ve built relationships and integrations with 50+ technology and solutions partners. This ecosystem has been core to how we’ve designed GoodDay from day one. Today, we’re making it official with the launch of the GoodDay Partner Program, giving us a more structured way to invest in these relationships and support our partners as we grow.

When we were scaling Chubbies, my team spent more time than we’d like to admit sitting in conference rooms with systems integrators, staring at project plans with no light at the end of the tunnel.

We’d outgrown spreadsheets and our patchwork of apps, so we did what growing brands are told to do: we went shopping for an ERP. Every vendor pitched us a “platform and partner ecosystem.” In practice, that meant picking a certified implementation firm, signing a totally separate 6+ month long SOW, and hoping the people assigned to our account understood how a Shopify brand actually worked.

The partners themselves were rarely the problem. Many were smart, competent and hardworking people. But the systems they had to work with made everything hard. Every new data integration was a custom project. Our 3PL couldn’t easily get the data it needed, and our marketing and analytics tools lived in a separate world from our inventory. Every time we wanted to add a new piece of technology to our stack, we had to build another bridge, and pay for it.

What frustrated me most was how misaligned the incentives were. Nobody was really rewarded for getting us live quickly or helping get to a system that actually worked for our growing business. We were the ones absorbing the delays, rework, and the growing costs.

Again, our best partners: our fulfillment teams, agencies, and Shopify app developers, were impactful despite the ERP, not because of it.

That experience is a big part of why GoodDay exists today. It’s why we made a decision early on that shaped everything we’ve built since: GoodDay’s technology and business model would be designed around the entire ecosystem of brands and the service providers that support them.

We know that no single platform does everything a modern brand needs, nor should it. The 3PLs, agencies, technology providers, and consultants helping brands grow aren’t an afterthought. They’re essential to our customers’ success, and to ours…a genuine first class citizen in GoodDay’s ecosystem.

That’s why we’ve built GoodDay as a Shopify-native ERP, with open APIs and integrations that make it easier for partners to connect and work together. And, it’s why we’ve invested in these relationships from the beginning, rather than treating partnerships as something to build once the product is finished.

The GoodDay Partner Program is a continuation of that work. It gives us a more scalable way to support our partners with the tools, resources, and commercial opportunities to build successful businesses alongside us.

“Most ERPs treat partners as an afterthought, with closed systems and long integration cycles. GoodDay is different. Their open, API-first platform made integrating Crstl fast, even at scale, so our shared brands start selling to retailers in weeks instead of months.”
— Dipti, CEO & Co-founder Crstl

An integrated ecosystem built by operators

In the legacy ERP world, the incentives aren’t aligned to support our brands. More customization means more billable hours. We think that model is short-sighted and backwards, so we built GoodDay to be focused on long-term outcomes that benefit brand operators and their solution partners.

The legacy ERP partner playbook The GoodDay Partner Program
ERP and partners are not incentivized to move fast. Partners earn on billable hours and customization When brands win, partners win. Our incentives reward revenue share, referrals, and the recurring value partners create for their brands
Brittle, bolt-on integrations retrofitted for the cloud An API-native platform built for integration from day one, no middleware required
Generic, multi-industry certification tracks Purpose-built for consumer brands, so partners inherit deep domain fluency
Long implementations before anyone sees value Fast implementations, so your ERP partner isn't slowing down your sales cycle
Opaque tiers and gatekept roadmaps Transparent tiering, a partner portal, and feedback loops into product
Legal terms written to protect the vendor from the partner Partner agreements built to be workable, with no contradictory fine print

Open, modern APIs at the core

The backbone of the program is GoodDay’s open API platform. It’s the clearest difference between us and legacy partner ecosystems.

  • A modern, well-documented API surface. Order, inventory, product and style, fulfillment, and customer data are available through modern REST endpoints and webhooks, not batch files or screen-scraping.
  • Real-time access. Inventory availability, order status, and fulfillment events sync live, which matters for brands selling wholesale, DTC, and marketplace at the same time.
  • Built for the consumer brand data model. Our APIs natively understand style, color, and size matrices, pre-books, and seasonal collections, so partners never have to flatten apparel data into generic SKU fields.
  • No forced middleware. Partners can build direct, first-party integrations without paying for an iPaaS layer just to get basic connectivity.
  • A sandbox for building and testing before going live with a shared brand.
  • Clear, standalone API Terms that spell out data use, IP ownership, and restrictions on using partner or brand data to train third-party AI models.

Three ways to partner with GoodDay

Technology Partners

For complementary SaaS tools across ecommerce like WMS, finance, returns, B2B selling, PLM, EDI, and more.

  • Full access to GoodDay’s API and webhook infrastructure to build native, real-time integrations
  • A sandbox to build and validate before going live with shared customers
  • Co-marketing and joint launch support, including webinars, case studies, and directory placement
  • Qualified pipeline through co-selling with our sales team, plus deal registration so credit is protected
  • A revenue share model for partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals

3PL Partners

For 3PLs who want cleaner data from their customers, faster customer onboarding, fewer tickets to manage, and sticker customers overall.

  • Real-time inventory and order sync, with no batch EDI files or end-of-day reconciliation gaps
  • Native support for apparel and CPG fulfillment: multi-warehouse allocation, style/color/size inventory, and channel-specific routing
  • Faster onboarding of shared brands, since each new account doesn’t need custom engineering
  • A two-way referral channel: we route brands that need fulfillment help to trusted partners, and partners do the same

Services Partners

For outsourced operations teams, financial and accounting consultants, agencies, and independent consultants.

  • Outsourced operations partners get direct API and portal access to manage client accounts across order management, inventory, and fulfillment.
  • Financial and accounting partners get GoodDay’s built-in revenue ledger, a clean channel-level view of recognized revenue. No more rebuilding revenue recognition in spreadsheets every month.
  • Agencies get co-marketing support, access to our marketing team for joint campaigns, and referral economics for bringing brands onto the platform.
  • Independent consultants get trained, a direct line to our partner team, and referral fees.

How we support our partners

Every GoodDay partner, in every track, gets four things from us:

  1. Enablement. Sandbox access, one to one demo’s / training sessions, and sales and training materials to share with your customers.
  2. Co-selling and pipeline. Deal registration, warm introductions from our sales team, and joint go-to-market for launches and campaigns.
  3. Aligned economics. Revenue share and referral structures tied to the value partners deliver, not hours logged.
  4. A real relationship. A named point of contact, unique partner portal and a program that evolves with partner feedback.
